Its about that time again

Its getting to be about that time again.  I've been preparing the compost pile for some planting this summer. The soil looks good but I got a feeling the squirrels & birds are gonna give me a run for the money. Got a bird bath in the backyard and both birds & squirrels spend a lot of time drinking & washing in it.  Pretty sure they will creep on over to the garden once its up and running too!  Think I'll just grow more herbs like mint, dill seed, lavender, basil & thyme and keep on making that late night run to the Dallas Wholesale Mkt for the bulk produce. The grandkids don't know it yet but they WILL be assisting in some of these Thursday late night runs too!
