Well I didn't do what I said I was going to do! We 4got to take pics of us interacting with the visitors at Preview Night. It was a success & well attended. We did do a couple of pics prior to it starting. So if you go to the Texas State Fair/GoTexan Pavilion General Store, please stand beside section 4 & do what Dr, Vickie did - POSE-PIC-POST (POSE with a Providence Preserves jar, Take a PIC and POST it on my FB page OR message to me). This Thurs. evening, 9/26, Providence Preserves, along with several other food & beverage vendors from the state have been selected to give samples of our products at the 7th Annual Invitation-Only Preview Event sponsored by Texana Brands and Southwest Dairy Farmers. This will be the kick-off to the opening of the GO Texan Pavilion. I hope Ken & I will have the where with all to remember to take pics at this very special event. It will give us a chance to discuss our product(s) with retail buyers and influential food bloggers. We are really curious to know what food bloggers will think of the Chow-Chow. Each guest will get tickets to vote for their favorite sampler. Checks will be presented to the first & second place winners in beverages and food.
We're gonna bring our A Game and hope all goes well with all of us vendors. We'll keep you posted... #Farmers Branch Farmers Market

Only 2 more Saturdays for the market! Providence Preserves will have pint jars of Pickled Okra, Watermelon Rind Pickles, Bread & Butter Pickles, Squash Pickles, Cinnamon Cucumber Rings and Dilly Beans as well as your favorite jams and Chow-Chow. Ten percent of September proceeds will benefit the North Texas Food Bank.   Lets support the Food Bank

During the month of September, Providence Preserves will be donating 10% of its market sales at Farmers Branch Farmers Market to the North Texas Food Bank. Come by today, 9/7 , 9/21 and/or 9/28 and purchase your favorite Jams, Pickles, and Chow-Chow.
